About Me

amanda
Hello and welcome to my blog, Amanda Reads!

Bio:

I graduated from the University of Evansville in May 2014 with a BFA in Creative Writing and literature. Post college, I returned to my beloved home of Cincinnati, Ohio to serve two years with Notre Dame AmeriCorps as the Co-Director of the College Bridge Program at Education Matters.

Currently, I am pursuing an MFA in Creative Nonfiction with an emphasis in teaching at Chatham University in Pittsburgh.

In addition to my reviews on this blog, I am also a contributing writer at Book Riot, Graduate Associate of Student Affairs at Chatham, online writing tutor, and Nonfiction Editor of Newfound Journal. I also teach community creative writing classes through the Words Without Walls program.
